2023 Event Details

This year the Banquet will be back in-person. We will be gathering together at The Sanctuary at Lotte Hotel, which is a perfect backdrop for our “See You In Court” themed event. We’ll have cocktails, mocktails, and hearty appetizers, informal seating, and a stunning stage program. Our keynote speaker this year is Stella Keating, one of GLAAD’s “20 Under 20” and Seventeen magazine’s “Voices of the Year.” She also received the “Visibility Award” at the Trans Advocacy Awards from the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund. Stella is a founding Champion of The GenderCool Project. who has been an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community for years.

We will be using this opportunity to join together to raise funds for the QLaw Bar Association’s scholarships for young LGBTQ+ law students and support our sibling organization the QLaw Foundation.

The Banquet typically welcomes over 475 attorneys, judges, legal professionals, public officials, and LGBTQ+ leaders and visionaries throughout the state. We have also supported artists, drag queens and DJs from our community to add some pizzazz to the gathering. As an entirely volunteer-run organization, QLaw relies on generous support from Washington law firms and companies that share our values and goals of diversity and equality.
