5:30 p.m. – Virtual Networking/Cocktail Hour
6:15 p.m. – Program
The QLaw Annual Banquet celebrates the diverse LGBTQ communities within the legal profession, to gather as friends, “family,” and colleagues, and to reflect on the victories of the last year and the struggles still to come. This year the Banquet will be virtual and will include time for small-group networking with your guests and other attendees. We will be using the Remo Conference platform to recreate the feel of an in person event as much as possible. We promise this will not be one giant Zoom call.
We are also honored to host Josh Rivers as a special guest. Josh is the creator and host of Busy Being Black, the podcast exploring how to live in the fullness of our queer Black lives. The show centers conversations with those who have learned – and are learning – to thrive at the intersection of their identities, and is a growing compendium of queer Black voices in a landscape with far too few. He is also the head of communications for UK Black Pride, Europe's largest pride celebration for LGBTQ+ people of color, and a communications consultant specializing in amplifying the work of people and organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community.
The QLaw Annual Banquet typically welcomes over 400 attorneys, judges, legal professionals, public officials, and LGBTQ+ leaders and visionaries from throughout the state. We hope you will join us.
